About the role
Seeking an experienced HCAI Project Manager to lead healthcare construction projects for a commercial general contractor in Orange County, overseeing planning, approvals, construction, and closeout while ensuring regulatory compliance, safety, and quality.
What you’ll do
Manage project schedules, budgets, subcontractors, and overall project execution
Coordinate with architects, engineers, contractors, healthcare facility representatives, and inspectors
Oversee HCAI plan reviews, approvals, construction administration, inspections, and project closeout
Ensure compliance with California building codes, HCAI regulations, and applicable healthcare facility requirements
Monitor project progress, resolve construction issues, and maintain quality and safety standards
Lead project meetings and provide regular progress reports to owners and stakeholders
What you’ll need
5+ years of construction project management experience
Strong knowledge of HCAI requirements, California healthcare building codes, and seismic compliance
Experience with hospital renovations, medical facilities, and occupied healthcare environments
Proficiency with construction management software and project scheduling tools
