About the role
Senior Backend Developer to lead architecture and modernization of cloud-native .NET applications for federal clients, with deep AWS and microservices expertise.
What you’ll do
Lead architecture, development, modernization, and delivery of cloud-enabled .NET applications
Provide technical leadership across the software development lifecycle
Collaborate with government stakeholders, product owners, architects, and development teams
Design and implement microservices, distributed systems, and event-driven solutions
Implement DevSecOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and automated deployment strategies
Support Agile ceremonies, backlog management, and sprint execution
What you’ll need
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or related field
12+ years of experience designing, developing, and supporting enterprise software applications
Experience serving in a technical lead, solution architect, team lead, or Scrum leadership role
Extensive experience with Microsoft development technologies including .NET, C#, ASP.NET, SQL Server, Entity Framework
Experience designing and implementing microservices, distributed systems, event-driven solutions, and containerized applications in AWS
Must be a U.S. Citizen and able to obtain and maintain a Public Trust Clearance
