About the role
MEC seeks a contract Business Systems Analyst to develop quality-monitoring reports and analytics for medical device and pharmaceutical clients. The role requires advanced Excel, SQL, Snowflake, and Power BI skills, plus knowledge of QMS processes and FDA regulations.
What you’ll do
Develop quality-monitoring reports and assessment tracking
Identify data issues, trends, and compliance risks
Automate data preparation and develop executive-level metric reporting
Build interactive dashboards and automated reporting in Power BI
Support quality system monitoring and decision-making
Perform statistical analysis and risk-based data analysis
What you’ll need
Expert-level Microsoft Excel (Power Query, Power Pivot, Pivot Tables, dashboards)
Advanced SQL and Snowflake query optimization
Advanced Power BI dashboard development
Strong statistical analysis and data interpretation skills
Knowledge of QMS processes (CAPA, Complaint Handling, Nonconformance)
2-3 years in FDA-regulated medical device environment; degree required
