About the role
Xcel Energy is looking for a Senior Data Migration & Mapping Analyst to support a large-scale customer data conversion program by documenting source-to-target rules, validating data, and facilitating workshops with subject matter experts.
What you’ll do
Document source-to-target business rules and mapping specifications
Support defect triage, source remediation, and data validation across mock conversion cycles
Produce unambiguous mapping documentation actionable for development teams
Trace data defects across code, rules, and source systems during triage
Facilitate workshops to draw out and confirm business rules with subject matter experts
What you’ll need
5+ years of hands-on data conversion or data mapping experience
SAP IS-U or SAP S/4HANA Utilities conversion mapping expertise
SQL proficiency for profiling, querying, and validating data
Familiarity with SAP migration tooling and standard mapping templates
Experience supporting or leading multiple mock conversion cycles to cutover readiness
Background in utility billing or customer data environments strongly preferred
