About the role
Develops and supports RabbitMQ within Amazon MQ, writing open-source Erlang software and designing distributed message broker systems. Works on large-scale, reliable, and scalable solutions across the full software development lifecycle.
What you’ll do
Write open-source software in Erlang
Design, develop, test, and deploy distributed message broker systems
Architect new and existing systems for reliability and scaling
Develop large-scale, multi-tiered, multi-threaded, distributed applications and services
Participate in the full software development life cycle including coding standards, code reviews, source control, build processes, testing, and operations
What you’ll need
3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
2+ years of non-internship design or architecture experience
1+ years developing large-scale distributed software using C#, C++, Java, or Perl
1+ years of Object Oriented Design experience
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or related field
Experience programming with at least one software programming language
