About the role
Scale AI is looking for a Software Engineer to join its Public Sector Engineering team, responsible for defining software shipping processes and building tools for testing, deployment, and environment management in complex government environments. The role requires an active secret clearance, full-stack and cloud-native expertise, and a hybrid presence in DC, SF, NYC, or STL.

What you’ll need
Active secret clearance and willingness to uplevel to TS/SCI with CI Poly
Proficiency in full-stack development
Experience with Docker and Kubernetes
Familiarity with AWS, Azure, or GCP
Knowledge of FedRAMP, Cloud SRG, and STIG compliance
Strong problem-solving and communication skills
