Pano AI is hiring a Strategic Sourcing Manager to lead sourcing, negotiation, and supplier management for hardware components and logistics that support its wildfire detection platform. The role works cross-functionally to align supplier strategy with product needs and company growth.
What you’ll do
Develop sourcing strategies for components, materials, services, and logistics
Negotiate supplier agreements and manage commercial terms
Manage supplier performance, risks, and relationships
Conduct RFx processes and evaluate supplier proposals
Partner with Engineering and Product teams to support NPI
Drive cost-reduction initiatives through cost modeling
What you’ll need
5+ years in strategic sourcing, procurement, supply chain, or supplier management
Experience with hardware components, custom assemblies, contract manufacturing, or technical products
Proven success in supplier negotiations and commercial agreements
Experience with RFx, cost structures, and cost modeling
Experience supporting NPI with engineering or product development teams
Experience with global suppliers and outsourced manufacturing/EMS models
