About the role
Seeking a senior Python engineer to build network management and DDI platforms for enterprise infrastructure. The role focuses on developing APIs, automation, integrations, and reliability capabilities for DNS, DHCP, and IPAM across datacenters.
What you’ll do
Develop APIs, automation, integrations, and reliability capabilities for network services
Design and build production backend services and applications
Integrate with external systems through APIs, databases, messaging, or event-driven architectures
Translate networking requirements into maintainable software abstractions and automated workflows
Build automated infrastructure onboarding and provisioning workflows
Own software services from architecture and development through deployment and production operations
What you’ll need
5+ years of relevant experience
Bachelor's degree required
Strong Python programming skills
Experience designing and developing production backend services
Strong networking fundamentals including TCP/IP, subnets, routing, VLANs, DNS, and DHCP
Experience with IPAM and DDI platforms such as Nautobot, NetBox, Infoblox, BlueCat, Kea DHCP, or BIND
