About the role
CGI is seeking a Mid-Level Full-Stack AI Engineer to design, develop, and deploy scalable AI-powered applications on its AI Platform. The role combines backend services, APIs, data pipelines, model integrations, and frontend experiences with technical leadership and mentoring responsibilities.
What you’ll do
Design, develop, and deploy scalable AI-powered applications using full-stack technologies
Build and maintain backend services, APIs, data pipelines, and model integrations
Develop frontend experiences with Angular
Contribute to CGI's AI Platform and production-ready AI solutions
Provide technical leadership and mentor junior team members
What you’ll need
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, AI, Software Engineering, or related field, or equivalent practical experience
2+ years of professional full-stack development experience with Python and Angular
2+ years of experience building AI-powered products with generative AI, NLP, chatbots, OCR, or intelligent automation
Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, relational/non-relational databases, and RESTful API design
Experience leveraging cloud platforms such as Microsoft Azure or Google Cloud Platform
Experience with LLM frameworks, RAG, vector databases, MLOps, and CI/CD pipelines
