About the role

What you’ll do

• Lead technology strategy, governance, and operations for the Syracuse Bio-Campus
• Oversee cybersecurity, infrastructure, and regulated business and laboratory systems
• Manage data and analytics and IT organizational performance
• Support compliance, operational excellence, and business growth
• Develop and execute enterprise or site-level technology strategies aligned with business objectives
• Manage technology portfolios, operating budgets, and strategic vendor relationships

What you’ll need

• Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or related field
• Minimum of 12 years of progressive information technology experience, preferably in regulated environments
• Minimum of 5 years of leadership experience managing managers, technical leaders, or multidisciplinary teams
• Experience supporting regulated operations requiring computer system validation, data integrity, and inspection readiness
• Broad knowledge of cybersecurity, infrastructure, service delivery, digital workplace, data and analytics, and cloud platforms
• Strong understanding of cybersecurity governance, risk management, and frameworks including ISO 27001
