About the role

What you’ll do

• Lead design, development, testing, and adoption of software solutions
• Evaluate emerging technologies and translate business goals into scalable technical plans
• Provide technical direction and collaborate with product, architecture, data, security, and business teams
• Mentor engineers and influence technical direction without direct authority
• Establish reusable engineering standards, patterns, frameworks, or accelerators
• Take emerging technology concepts from proof of concept through production and adoption

What you’ll need

• Bachelor's degree in a technology-related field or equivalent practical experience; 8+ years in this capacity
• Progressive software engineering experience building complex applications, distributed systems, APIs, platforms, or cloud-native services
• Demonstrated ability to lead technical work across the full software development lifecycle
• Strong proficiency in one or more modern programming languages such as Python, Java, JavaScript/TypeScript, C#, Go, or similar
• Experience designing scalable, secure, observable, maintainable software using APIs, automated testing, CI/CD, and DevOps practices
• Experience with cloud platforms, containerization, Kubernetes, microservices, event-driven architecture, serverless, or infrastructure-as-code
