About the role
SpaceX is seeking a Senior Application Software Engineer to develop and evolve mission-critical manufacturing applications supporting Starship production and Starlink. The role involves full-stack development, system design, and performance optimization in an onsite capacity.
What you’ll do
Develop and evolve mission-critical manufacturing applications
Support Starship production and reuse
Build next-generation high-throughput manufacturing software for Starlink
Provide efficient solutions to users' operational problems
Design and implement robust software systems
Profile and improve application performance
What you’ll need
Bachelor's degree in CS, engineering, math, or science with 5+ years of professional software development experience, or 7+ years without degree
3+ years of full stack development experience
Programming experience in Python, C#.NET, Go, Scala, Java, or similar object-oriented language
Experience building single-page web applications and with version control, CI/CD, and package management
Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and database technologies (e.g., PostgreSQL)
Must meet U.S. Government export regulations (U.S. citizen, permanent resident, refugee, or asylee)
