About the role
WEX is hiring a Technical Program Manager to lead Information Security initiatives and coordinate delivery across Technology, Product, Architecture, and Engineering teams, overseeing planning, compliance, risk, and enterprise change adoption. The role requires senior technical program management experience in complex security projects within highly regulated environments.
What you’ll do
Lead Information Security initiatives and coordinate delivery across Technology, Product, Architecture, and Engineering teams
Oversee planning, reporting, resource coordination, and budget oversight
Manage risks, dependencies, and security compliance
Drive adoption of enterprise security changes
Scope and manage tasks with system owners and engineers from inception to completion
Document findings, issues, and recommendations
What you’ll need
5+ years in Senior Technical Program Management roles managing complex, interdependent security projects
Experience managing Information Security projects, resources, and timelines
Expertise across platforms, applications, endpoint security, infrastructure, networks, email security, and cloud/container security
Proven track record with HIPAA, PCI-DSS, SOX and other regulatory frameworks
Deep proficiency in Agile methodologies and tools (Jira/Confluence)
Experience in FinTech or highly regulated environments
