About the role
K2 Space is developing high-power satellite platforms for low Earth orbit to deep space missions and is hiring a Senior RF DSP Engineer to lead DSP algorithm and software-defined radio system design for satellite communications, while collaborating with multidisciplinary teams and mentoring engineers.
What you’ll do
Lead design, development, testing, and integration of DSP algorithms and software-defined radio systems for satellite communications
Collaborate with multidisciplinary engineering teams
Mentor other engineers
What you’ll need
Bachelor's degree in computer science, computer engineering, electrical engineering, or related STEM field
8+ years of experience in RF digital communications and DSP systems
Strong knowledge of DSP concepts and digital communications theory, including modems, channelizers, spread spectrum, FEC, channel estimation/equalization, and modulation types
Strong experience with signal detection topologies, filter topologies, and GNU Radio with SDRs
Strong experience with Python, MATLAB, and/or C/C++
Must be a U.S. person as defined by 22 C.F.R. § 120.15 or otherwise eligible for an export control license
