About the role
Phaidra is hiring a Senior Software Engineer to lead cross-team engineering efforts building and operating AI agents that optimize data center operations. This all-remote role is open to candidates in the US, Canada (Eastern or Central timezone), or the UK.
What you’ll do
Lead engineering efforts across teams to design, deliver, and operate complex systems and products
Help data center operators understand infrastructure, troubleshoot issues, and optimize facility operations
Build, operate, and monitor modern SaaS applications, APIs, and high-throughput services
Collaborate across teams and communicate clearly in an all-remote setting
What you’ll need
7+ years of professional software engineering experience and ability to lead technical projects across teams
Experience designing, building, and operating complex production systems, including distributed systems, service-oriented architectures, and data modeling at scale
Production experience in Python (or similar) and cloud environments
Experience building, operating, and monitoring modern SaaS applications, APIs, and high-throughput services
Experience with relational/non-relational data modeling, micro-services, event-driven systems, and observability tooling such as Prometheus, Grafana, or Tempo
Legally authorized to work in the specified locations; no visa sponsorship offered
