About the role
Quanta Services seeks a Systems Engineer for its Platform Engineering team to build and operate internal platforms using full-stack development, Databricks, AI-assisted tooling, and cloud infrastructure. The role requires 2-4 years of software development experience with modern web technologies, CI/CD, and some exposure to data and AI platforms.
What you’ll do
Build and operate internal platforms using full-stack development
Develop Databricks applications
Implement AI-assisted tooling
Manage cloud infrastructure and operations
Execute assigned work to completion and raise blockers early
Document code with comments, READMEs, and decision notes
What you’ll need
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience)
2-4 years of professional software development experience
Full-stack development experience with TypeScript/JavaScript, React, Node.js, and Fastify
Experience with GitHub workflows and GitHub Actions
CI/CD pipeline experience building or troubleshooting automated pipelines
Some exposure to Databricks or comparable data-platform experience
