About the role
Castelion seeks a Technical Training & Competency Program Manager to build and lead a scalable training and competency program that captures, delivers, assesses, and tracks technical knowledge across engineering, manufacturing, and operations. The role focuses on enabling high-performance teams in a fast-paced defense manufacturing environment.
What you’ll do
Build and lead a scalable technical training and competency program
Own how technical knowledge is captured, delivered, assessed, and tracked
Develop training tracking systems, databases, or LMS tools
Manage qualification and competency standards across engineering, manufacturing, and operations
Partner with stakeholders and subject matter experts to execute hands-on training
Recruit, mentor, and grow technical training staff
What you’ll need
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Technical Education, or a related field
7+ years in technical training, manufacturing engineering, or operations, including 3+ years leading training or competency programs or teams
Proven experience building and leading technical training, qualification, or competency teams
Strong technical aptitude across mechanical, electrical, and system-level domains
Experience developing training tracking systems, databases, or LMS tools
Ability to obtain required U.S. Government security clearance and access export-controlled information
