Amazon is seeking a Software Development Engineer to build and maintain cloud-scale security services for AWS Vulnerability Management, identifying and mitigating vulnerabilities across AWS while collaborating with service teams and security partners throughout the software development lifecycle.
What you’ll do
Build and maintain cloud-scale security services
Identify, prioritize, and mitigate vulnerabilities across AWS
Collaborate with AWS service teams and security partners throughout the SDLC
Automate builder-facing security tooling and guardrails at scale
Participate in coding standards, code reviews, source control, build processes, testing, and operations
What you’ll need
3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
2+ years of design or architecture experience for new and existing systems
Experience programming with at least one software programming language
2+ years of Amazon experience or experience with AWS services or other cloud offerings
3+ years of full software development life cycle experience
Track record of building and automating builder-facing security tooling and guardrails at scale
