About the role
Taco Bell is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to develop and support scalable integration services for its Customer Middleware platform, enabling digital ordering, loyalty, identity, messaging, and restaurant experiences.
What you’ll do
Develop, test, deploy, and support scalable software and integration services
Contribute to technical design for the Customer Middleware platform
Maintain reliable and secure customer technology
Collaborate with product, QE, platform, security, and partner engineering teams
Move work from discovery through implementation, testing, deployment, monitoring, and operational support
What you’ll need
At least 5 years of professional software engineering experience
Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent experience
Hands-on experience with server-side programming, preferably TypeScript/JavaScript and Node.js
Experience with REST or GraphQL APIs, async events, queues, and service-to-service integrations
Experience building or operating applications on AWS using services like Lambda, API Gateway, DynamoDB, and EventBridge
Experience with modern delivery tools including Git, GitLab CI/CD, infrastructure as code, and observability platforms
