About the role
Horizon3.ai is hiring a Director of Information Technology to lead internal IT strategy, operations, and service delivery for a remote workforce. This role oversees IT teams and managers while partnering with Security, Engineering, People, and Finance to support company growth.
What you’ll do

Manage vendor evaluation, negotiation, and performance
What you’ll need
10+ years of IT experience with 5+ years in people leadership, including managing managers
Proven ownership of IT strategy and operations in a mid-sized or larger organization
Experience operating in a remote-first or hybrid workplace supporting distributed employees
Deep understanding of endpoint management, identity and access management, collaboration tools, ITSM, networking, AI administration, and cloud infrastructure
Strong partnership history with Security, Engineering, and Compliance teams
Experience in high-growth startup or scale-up environments and security frameworks (SOC 2, ISO 27001, FedRAMP)
