Katalyst Space, which builds robotic spacecraft for dynamic space operations, seeks a Product Manager to own roadmaps and execution for Space Domain Awareness software products. The role bridges stakeholder needs and engineering priorities while communicating capabilities to government, partner, and executive audiences.
What you’ll do
Own roadmaps and execution for multiple Space Domain Awareness (SDA) products
Translate stakeholder needs into engineering priorities
Communicate product capabilities to government stakeholders, partners, and executives
Deliver compelling technical demos and briefings to senior government officials, military leaders, and technical stakeholders
Prioritize product work to maximize impact with constrained resources
Articulate the 'why' behind product decisions
What you’ll need
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Physics or a related technical field
3-5 years of product management experience, ideally combined with business development or sales engineering in defense/aerospace or technical B2B SaaS
Startup or fast-paced environment experience with the ability to move quickly, wear multiple hats, and navigate ambiguity independently
Experience with Agile/Scrum and product management tools (Linear, Jira, Azure DevOps or similar)
Strong written and verbal communication skills with experience presenting to technical and executive audiences
Knowledge of SDA, aerospace/defense, or DoD customer acquisition processes, or ability to quickly learn complex technical domains
