About the role
Senior GitHub Migration SME to lead the design, maintenance, and improvement of GitHub Actions CI/CD pipelines, establish GitHub engineering and security standards, troubleshoot pipelines, and coach developers on automation and DevSecOps practices. This is a contract role in Charlotte, NC with hybrid work.
What you’ll do
Lead the design, maintenance, and improvement of GitHub Actions CI/CD pipelines
Establish GitHub engineering and security standards
Troubleshoot pipelines
Coach developers on automation and DevSecOps practices
What you’ll need
7+ years in development, DevOps or platform engineering with deep GitHub experience
Proven experience with reusable GitHub Actions workflows in production
Strong Git, YAML and scripting skills (Bash, PowerShell or Python)
Experience with APIs, containers (Docker/Kubernetes), cloud (AWS/Azure/GCP), GitHub Enterprise admin, GitHub Advanced Security, Terraform, and migrations from Jenkins, Azure DevOps or GitLab
Clear communicator who can set standards and win buy-in
Must be authorized to work in the US without current or future visa sponsorship
