About the role
UST is seeking a Technical Program Manager (Firmware) to lead cross-functional programs across hardware, firmware, operations, suppliers, and cloud services, owning program execution and NPI. The role ensures firmware readiness, mitigates risks, and coordinates telemetry and hardware lifecycle activities.
What you’ll do
Lead cross-functional programs spanning hardware, firmware, operations, suppliers, and cloud services
Own program execution and reporting
Drive firmware readiness
Manage new product introduction
Coordinate risk mitigation
Oversee telemetry coordination and hardware lifecycle activities
What you’ll need
Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or related field; 5+ years managing complex hardware, firmware, or cloud system programs
Experience with server/PC architecture, hardware bring-up, BIOS/BMC flows, and diagnostics
Knowledge of NPI processes including EVT, DVT, PVT builds and manufacturing readiness
Experience with FMEA, quality engineering coordination, and risk management workflows
Experience with cloud telemetry, remote diagnostics, and field data trend analysis
Familiarity with cloud infrastructure hardware (Azure, AWS, GCP), data center platforms, JIRA, Agile methodologies, and PLM systems
