About the role
Kong is hiring a Staff Solutions Engineer to advise enterprise customers on secure API and AI architectures, support technical evaluations and sales, and shape customer solutions and product direction. This remote role requires deep expertise in cloud-native platforms, APIs, and AI-assisted development tools.

What you’ll need
7+ years of software engineering and/or solutions engineering experience
Proven track record owning complex, enterprise-level deals
Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud-native platforms
Hands-on experience with AI-assisted development tooling (e.g., Claude Code, GitHub Copilot)
Working knowledge of AI/LLM architectures and agentic AI patterns
Strong listener and communicator
