About the role

What you’ll do

• Build and maintain enterprise brokerage applications and automation pipelines.
• Develop regulatory reporting solutions across asset classes.
• Contribute to hands-on software development, architecture, testing, and cloud modernization.
• Develop microservices for real-time data translation and transmission using Spring, Kafka, and AWS services.
• Design and develop AWS Lambda functions to fetch data from FINRA API using Java and RESTful services.
• Deploy and maintain services in AWS Elastic Kubernetes Service (EKS) and Lambda, and execute CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins.

What you’ll need

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, IT, IS, or related field plus 3 years of experience, or Master's degree plus 1 year.
• Experience designing and developing Java-based scalable, high-performance applications supporting FINRA regulatory compliance in securities trading.
• Demonstrated expertise developing microservices with Spring, Redis, NoSQL databases, SQS, EC2, and Kafka.
• Demonstrated expertise designing and developing AWS Lambda functions with Java and RESTful APIs.
• Demonstrated expertise validating REST API requests and responses using Ready API, Serenity REST Assured, Swagger, and Insomnia.
• Demonstrated expertise with CI/CD using Jenkins, Docker/Kubernetes, Maven, Sonar, JUnit, and data validation using Oracle Database, DataDog, and Splunk.
