About the role
ŌURA is hiring a Senior Manufacturing Data Science & Machine Learning Engineer to build an intelligence layer for global manufacturing, integrating data systems and deploying machine-vision, ML, and analytics solutions to improve inspection, yield, process control, root-cause analysis, and traceability. The role involves working with suppliers and manufacturing sites, including regular travel to Asia.
What you’ll do

Work with contract manufacturers, suppliers, and cross-functional teams
Travel regularly to manufacturing sites in Asia and other supplier locations
What you’ll need
5-8 years of relevant experience in manufacturing software, industrial data science, machine learning, automation, test engineering, or supplier development
Bachelor's or master's degree in a related engineering, computer science, or data science field
Experience deploying software, analytics, or machine-learning solutions in a production environment
Strong Python skills with data-processing and ML libraries such as pandas, NumPy, scikit-learn, PyTorch, or TensorFlow
Experience with computer vision and image-processing techniques such as OpenCV, classification, detection, segmentation, OCR/OCV, anomaly detection, or metrology
Understanding of MES, manufacturing test systems, equipment interfaces, PLC/industrial-control data, and unit-level traceability
