About the role
This role drives the development and scaling of Palantir's Mission Manager platform, focusing on robust APIs and Kubernetes-based infrastructure for secure deployment in sensitive environments. The engineer will also support highly available distributed systems, observability, and mentorship within a hybrid Seattle team.
What you’ll do
Develop and scale Palantir's Mission Manager platform
Build robust and thoughtful APIs
Design and manage Kubernetes-based infrastructure
Enable secure deployment and operation of applications in sensitive environments
Troubleshoot complex system issues using observability tools and service logs
What you’ll need
Clear communication and ability to articulate work impact
3+ years' software development experience; 1+ years' system design/architecture and mentorship/tech lead experience
Strong coding skills in Go, Java, or equivalent
Deep familiarity with Kubernetes and its ecosystem
Experience developing and managing highly available distributed systems and observability/infrastructure systems
Active US Security clearance or eligibility and willingness to obtain one
