About the role
Tesla is seeking an Audio/Acoustic Engineer for its Infotainment Team to develop and integrate automotive loudspeaker and audio products, collaborating with suppliers and cross-functional teams. The role covers product development, testing, validation, troubleshooting, and technical mentorship.
What you’ll do
Develop and integrate automotive loudspeaker and audio products
Collaborate with suppliers to drive product development
Test and validate audio products
Troubleshoot and debug products
Provide technical mentorship
Define and specify requirements for acoustic products
What you’ll need
5+ years of design, test, and release responsibility for acoustic, loudspeaker, and signal processing products
Strong understanding of loudspeaker and loudspeaker system application and design
Degree in Engineering or equivalent experience developing audio products from scratch
Experience working with cross-functional team members from multiple disciplines
Hands-on experience designing and debugging products with CAD exposure
Knowledge of environmental constraints, regulatory compliance, and product debug (EMC/EMI, ESD, transients)
