About the role

What you’ll do

• Manage property-level accounting for a portfolio of real estate assets
• Prepare monthly reporting and financial statements
• Maintain tenant and property records in Yardi
• Coordinate financial matters with property managers, tenants, vendors, and ownership groups

What you’ll need

• At least 2 years of accounting experience, preferably in property, real estate, or commercial portfolio accounting
• Working knowledge of property accounting principles including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and month-end close
• Hands-on experience using Yardi for property and tenant accounting functions
• Understanding of accrual accounting and ability to prepare and review financial statements
• Strong attention to detail with ability to manage multiple properties, deadlines, and competing priorities
• Effective communication skills and proficiency in researching discrepancies and reconciling accounts
