About the role
Versant Health seeks a Director of Digital Software Engineering to lead delivery, modernization, and support of its digital application portfolio, including portals, mobile apps, and APIs. The role will drive engineering transformation, develop technology roadmaps, and lead global cross-functional teams to deliver secure, scalable, and compliant digital solutions.
What you’ll do
Lead delivery, modernization, and operational support of the digital application portfolio
Develop technology roadmaps and drive engineering transformation
Lead cross-functional global software engineering teams
Ensure secure, scalable, and compliant digital solutions
Partner with Quality Engineering on test automation, continuous testing, and release readiness
Drive adoption of AI-assisted software development capabilities
What you’ll need
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or related field preferred
8+ years of progressive experience in enterprise application development and technology organizations
4+ years leading global software engineering teams for digital platforms, web applications, APIs, and mobile applications
Experience leading Agile delivery transformation, cloud adoption, and engineering operating model improvements
Experience building API-driven architectures, responsive web applications, and iOS/Android mobile applications
Strong working knowledge of .NET, C#, SQL, Angular, cloud technologies, API architectures, GitHub Enterprise, and automated delivery toolchains
