About the role
AimBot Media is hiring a Director of Engineering to lead the development, performance, and reliability of its AI-powered advertising technology platform for the gaming ecosystem, overseeing ad-serving infrastructure, full-stack systems, and database architecture.
What you’ll do
Lead development, performance, and reliability of the advertising technology platform
Oversee ad-serving infrastructure, full-stack systems, and database architecture
Build scalable, high-performance systems for large volumes of requests and data
Ensure strong understanding of ad serving, campaign targeting, pacing, and impression tracking
Provide on-call support for critical technical emergencies
Provide technical leadership within a high-growth AdTech company
What you’ll need
8+ years of software engineering experience, including production systems
Direct, hands-on AdTech and ad-serving engineering experience
Strong full-stack development expertise including modern front-end frameworks, back-end services, APIs, and distributed systems
Advanced knowledge of relational and/or NoSQL databases, performance optimization, and data architecture
Experience building scalable, high-performance systems processing large volumes of requests and data
Familiarity with OpenRTB, VAST, and other relevant advertising protocols
