What you’ll do
Build scalable, secure APIs and backend services for a medical risk assessment solution
Contribute to API architecture and backend performance
Support product development as ML and LLM use evolves
Work with new and complex data sources
Collaborate with engineering, data science, underwriting, product, and customer success teams
What you’ll need
Degree or equivalent in Engineering, Mathematics, Computer Science, Data Science, Physics, or related discipline
Professional experience developing backend software with Python
Knowledge of software development lifecycle best practices
Experience with API design tools and frameworks such as Swagger, OpenAPI, and FastAPI
Experience with cloud, Kubernetes, Docker, Terraform, relational databases/ORM, and backend performance optimization
Interest in applying emerging technologies such as large language models in production
