About the role
Microsoft is seeking an experienced security researcher with a background in digital forensics and incident response to perform threat hunts, develop threat intelligence, and improve security products for enterprise customers.
What you’ll do
Research and analyze threat actor, tool, technique, and vulnerability intelligence
Enrich threat intelligence with detection logic and security recommendations
Create and deliver briefings on latest security threats to internal and external teams
Adapt writing style to create new content based on business needs and customer feedback
What you’ll need
Degree in Computer Science, Computer Security, or related field with relevant experience
Experience in software development lifecycle, cybersecurity, threat analysis, or anomaly detection
Knowledge of security fundamentals across Microsoft platforms
Familiarity with SQL or Kusto Query Language (KQL)
Experience with Jupyter Notebooks or scripting for threat hunting automation
Ability to obtain and maintain a US Security Clearance
