About the role
DigitalOcean seeks a Manager Success Partner to coach managers on performance, employee relations, and people decisions, and to develop consistent people processes across the People team. The role uses data and feedback to improve manager support in a high-growth tech environment.
What you’ll do
Advise managers on performance, employee relations, team changes, and people decisions.
Develop consistent people processes, playbooks, and templates.
Partner across People teams to improve manager support.
Use data and feedback to enhance manager support.
Facilitate group discussions and difficult conversations.
Conduct investigations and manage PIPs, probation, and terminations.
What you’ll need
5+ years of progressive HR experience in a generalist, HRBP, or employee relations role.
Experience coaching managers on performance management, employee relations, and difficult conversations.
Experience with PIPs, probation processes, investigations, terminations, and required documentation.
Working knowledge of employment law and compensation practices.
Strong judgment, discretion, communication, and ability to influence without authority.
Bachelor's degree or equivalent; high-growth tech/cloud/SaaS experience preferred.
