About the role
AeroVect is hiring a Senior Infrastructure Engineer to own and scale the on-prem physical infrastructure at its garage facilities, including bare-metal Linux servers, networking equipment, and connectivity between vehicles, garage systems, and cloud services. The role involves hands-on hardware maintenance, reliability improvements, and working independently in a fast-paced operational environment.
What you’ll do
Deploy and maintain bare-metal Linux servers and networking equipment
Own and scale physical infrastructure at garage facilities
Improve infrastructure reliability
Support connectivity between vehicles, garage systems, and cloud services
Diagnose hardware and network failures
Implement solutions to reduce downtime
What you’ll need
5+ years in infrastructure engineering, Linux systems administration, or data center operations
Strong experience with bare-metal Linux server deployment and maintenance
Solid networking fundamentals including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, routing, and switching
Hands-on experience with server racks, cabling, hardware installation, and power management
Familiarity with infrastructure monitoring, logging, and alerting tools
Experience in robotics, autonomous vehicles, industrial automation, or manufacturing environments
