About the role
TailorCare seeks a VP, Engineering to lead teams building data science, decisioning, patient engagement, and care-team systems. This remote leadership role is accountable for engineering strategy, delivery, business outcomes, technical standards, compliance, and developing engineering leaders.
What you’ll do

What you’ll need
12+ years in software engineering with 7+ years leading multi-team organizations
Experience owning a business outcome metric and explaining how engineering decisions moved it
Record of developing leaders, including first-time engineering managers
Experience keeping commitments realistic and delivering against hard external deadlines without slipping quality
Strong product management partnerships with clear decision rights and shared accountability
Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field or equivalent; healthcare, payer, or value-based care experience and HIPAA familiarity
