About the role
TechStar Group seeks a Senior Data Catalog Consultant to implement enterprise data catalogs, business glossaries, and lineage solutions while supporting metadata management and governance workflows. What you’ll do
Support enterprise data catalog, metadata management, and data governance initiatives
Implement catalog, business glossary, and lineage solutions
Support governance workflows and stewardship processes
What you’ll need
5+ years in data management, analytics, data governance, or related disciplines
2+ years hands-on experience with Alation or Unity Catalog for metadata management or data governance
Experience implementing enterprise data catalog, business glossary, and lineage solutions
Strong understanding of governance frameworks, metadata management, data catalogs, lineage, CDEs, and stewardship
Strong SQL skills and working knowledge of Python for metadata analysis and automation
Experience with Agile environments using Jira, Confluence, and SharePoint
