About the role

What you’ll do

• Lead and develop a team ensuring AI/ML models are trained and evaluated in a controlled, transparent, and compliant manner
• Oversee governance reviews, documentation, and approval workflows
• Coordinate with engineering, data science, risk, compliance, and product teams
• Set team priorities, coach technical professionals, and manage performance
• Manage model lifecycle tracking and audit/governance reviews
• Use documentation and tracking tools such as Jira and Confluence to manage governance activities

What you’ll need

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Engineering, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related technical or quantitative field
• 7+ years of experience in model governance, model validation, analytics, or related engineering roles, including 2+ years of direct people management
• Experience overseeing model documentation, approval workflows, controls, lifecycle tracking, and audit or governance reviews
• Strong understanding of AI/ML development, deployment, validation, benchmarking, and monitoring
• Experience managing projects and workflows in Jira and managing documentation in Confluence
• Working knowledge of Python and/or Java, SQL, databases, common data formats, SDLCs, SDKs, APIs, and cloud environments such as AWS, Azure, or GCP
