About the role
Madrigal Pharmaceuticals is seeking a Senior FP&A Manager to serve as a strategic finance partner to G&A and executive leadership, overseeing planning, forecasting, close, spend governance, and reporting while advising on resource allocation and technology investments. The ideal candidate brings deep finance/FP&A experience, strong Excel and PowerPoint skills, and expertise in financial systems and US GAAP.
What you’ll do
Lead financial planning, forecasting, and month-end close
Manage spend governance and executive reporting
Serve as strategic finance partner to G&A and the Executive Leadership Team
Advise on resource allocation and technology investments
Build executive-ready presentations and analysis
Collaborate cross-functionally and influence decisions up to the ELT
What you’ll need
Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field
8+ years of progressive finance/FP&A experience
Executive presence and ability to advise executive-level leaders
Expert proficiency in Excel and advanced PowerPoint skills
Experience with Coupa, Concur, ERP, and consolidation systems
Strong US GAAP understanding, including software and IT cost capitalization; MBA/CPA/CFA, pharma/biotech, or CIO/IT experience preferred
