About the role

What you’ll do

• Support design, development, integration, verification, and lifecycle support of submarine and acoustic systems
• Work with cross-functional teams in labs and at partner sites
• Develop system designs, requirements, and documentation
• Use tools for managing requirements and system modeling
• Develop test plans, procedures, and reports
• Utilize AI to improve system design and engineering processes

What you’ll need

• Bachelor's degree in Systems Engineering or related Science, Engineering, or Mathematics field plus 5 years of relevant experience, or Master's degree plus 3 years
• U.S. citizenship and ability to obtain DoD Secret security clearance after hire
• Familiarity with the full systems development life cycle and strong proficiency in requirements management and system modeling tools
• Understanding and application of systems engineering principles, concepts, and theories
• Collaborative team player able to provide technical leadership and mentorship with strong presentation and communication skills
• Experience with hardware and integrated hardware/software systems, including developing test plans, procedures, and reports
