About the role
Lam Research is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to design, develop, troubleshoot, and debug software for semiconductor etch and deposition products, support hardware integration, and mentor junior engineers.

What you’ll need
Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Electronics, or Mechanical Engineering with 5+ years of experience; Master's with 3+ years; PhD; or equivalent experience
Knowledge of OOS/OOD/OOP implementation and design, including Design Patterns and Finite State Machines
Knowledge of multithreading, including preemptive thread scheduling
Knowledge of communication protocols such as I2C, SPI, UART
Prior semiconductor equipment experience
Software development skills in C++ or C#
