About the role
Quanta Services is seeking Supplier Quality Engineers to ensure the quality of electrical transmission and renewable energy equipment. This remote role focuses on supplier assessments, quality issue investigations, corrective actions, and collaboration with internal teams and suppliers.
What you’ll do
Conduct supplier assessments
Investigate quality issues
Drive corrective actions and continuous improvement
Collaborate with engineering, supply chain, logistics, and suppliers
Strengthen supplier performance and ensure quality across electrical transmission and renewable energy equipment
What you’ll need
Bachelor's degree in Engineering or equivalent combination of education and experience
Minimum 3–7 years of progressive experience in construction management, manufacturing, or a related technical field
Knowledge of supplier audits, corrective actions, root cause analysis, and quality improvement
Experience with utility and renewable energy equipment including transmission components, solar racking, transformers, inverters, and cables
ISO 9001, AS9100, ISO 14001, or ISO 13485 certification with auditing experience
Ability to independently lead supplier quality initiatives and drive corrective actions to completion
