About the role
New York Life seeks a senior technical product leader to own the Decision Intelligence portfolio, setting strategy and roadmaps while leading cross-functional teams. What you’ll do
Set portfolio strategy and roadmap for Decision Intelligence products
Lead cross-functional product, engineering, design, and data science teams
Partner with senior leadership and executive stakeholders
Guide shared platforms, UX strategy, and AI/ML governance
Build and develop the product function including hiring and mentoring
Drive business-case development and prioritization frameworks
What you’ll need
12-15 years in product management, technical program leadership, or engineering roles
Proven success in portfolio-level product strategy and roadmaps with executive accountability
Fluency across full-stack architecture, APIs, data contracts, and ML model lifecycle
Experience leading cross-functional teams with people management or senior technical leadership
Prior experience in financial services, insurance, or a highly regulated enterprise
Hands-on familiarity with React/TypeScript front-ends and Python data/ML pipelines
