About the role
UCSF Health is looking for a Senior Cloud Engineer to manage and automate its cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP), ensuring reliability, security, and scalability. The role involves CI/CD, IaC, and incident response in a hybrid healthcare environment.
What you’ll do
Configure, operate, automate, secure, and ensure reliability of cloud infrastructure
Collaborate with developers, engineers, business partners, and stakeholders
Support cloud engineering projects, troubleshooting, and disaster recovery
Implement monitoring and documentation practices
Provide training and support to cloud users
Participate in 24x7 incident response
What you’ll need
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in computer science, IT, or related field
5+ years of experience in IT, computer science, or engineering
Associate-level cloud certification in AWS, Azure, or GCP or equivalent experience
Advanced experience migrating on-premises workloads to cloud environments
Experience designing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines, including GitHub Actions
Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code using Terraform and Ansible
