What you’ll do
Build and scale services powering Cerebras Inference Cloud
Own core cloud capabilities from architecture through production operation
Design APIs, services, data models, and distributed systems
Operate complex production systems and take responsibility after launch
Partner with frontend, infrastructure, inference, and product teams
Drive ambiguous problems to clarity and completion
What you’ll need
Typically 8+ years of industry experience building and operating production software
Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, or equivalent practical experience
Strong backend engineering fundamentals and practical understanding of concurrency, consistency, caching, and failure handling
Database and data-processing experience, including schema design and query performance
Experience with cloud platforms, developer tools, billing and metering, IAM, observability, or high-volume data processing
Collaboration and influence through clear communication and mentorship
