About the role

What you’ll do

• Design APIs, data models, and interfaces for the core platform
• Build features that turn project data, risk predictions, and AI recommendations into customer tools
• Own frontend and backend development across the stack
• Ship LLM features to production with retrieval and cost control
• Write tests and debug production issues from logs, metrics, and traces
• Make pragmatic trade-offs in a small, fast-moving team

What you’ll need

• 5+ years building and shipping web products with real ownership on frontend and backend
• Strong Python backend (FastAPI, Django or similar) and TypeScript with React frontend
• Solid relational data modeling in Postgres: schema design, indexes, migrations, and SQLAlchemy
• Experience with async work, AWS (S3, RDS, queues/event services, containers/serverless), and infrastructure as code
• Proven production LLM features including retrieval, embeddings, evaluation, and cost management
• Care about correctness in money, permissions, concurrency, and multi-tenant data isolation, with clear communication and pragmatic trade-offs
