About the role
Trinity Life Sciences seeks a Manager, AI Engineering to lead a small team building and deploying GenAI solutions such as Copilots, RAG pipelines, and agentic workflows for life sciences clients. The role combines hands-on engineering, client-facing collaboration, and mentoring.
What you’ll do
Build and deploy GenAI solutions for biopharma and commercial Life Sciences teams
Develop Copilots, RAG pipelines, agentic workflows, and data integrations
Lead and mentor a small team of AI engineers
Present to non-technical stakeholders and incorporate their feedback
Collaborate with teammates and understand client needs before building
What you’ll need
6–9 years of professional software engineering experience shipping production-quality systems
Strong proficiency in Python and fluency with cloud services (Azure, AWS, or GCP)
Hands-on experience with GenAI: LLMs, prompt engineering, RAG, agentic architectures, multi-modal pipelines, and Copilot-style assistants
Comfortable operating in client-facing environments and presenting to non-technical stakeholders
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
Preferred: experience mentoring or leading small engineering teams and Life Sciences or Biotech domain knowledge
